Order in Chaos
Welcome to One to Better.
A few years ago, I read Atomic Habits by James Clear. One idea in particular stuck with me: the notion that if you aim to be just 1% better each day, the results compound over time, quietly, almost invisibly, until you look back and realize all the little things you created added up to more than you expected.
That idea clicked with me immediately.
I’ve always had a constant stream of thoughts, ideas, half-built projects, sketches, experiments, and small creative wins (not that I always see it this way). Some turn into something meaningful. Many don’t. Most live in that messy middle space where progress feels minor and easy to dismiss. But over time, I realized those small steps were the work. The accumulation mattered more than any single outcome.
So instead of trying to curate only finished things, I decided to log the process.
One to Better is that log.
This is a place to capture the small things: apps I build, ideas I test, songs I produce, photos I take, thoughts that won’t sit still. Not everything here will be polished. Some of it will be messy and may even suck. Some of it may contradict what came before. That’s intentional.
The goal isn’t perfection.
It’s momentum.
Think of this as a running record of creative motion, proof that showing up, even imperfectly, counts. If you’re reading along, expect short posts, stream-of-thought entries, experiments, and occasional clarity emerging from chaos.
Welcome to One to Better.
