Kana Study App
Built a small kana practice app using Replit. I’ve lived in Japan for many years, and one thing I’ve learned about myself is that I’m not particularly good at learning languages. Not naturally, anyway. I have to rely on tried and true repetition, coming back to the same thing over and over until it slowly sticks. Kana Study came out of that reality.

Welcome to One to Better. A few years ago, I read Atomic Habits by James Clear. One idea in particular stuck with me: the notion that if you aim to be just 1% better each day, the results compound over time, quietly, almost invisibly, until you look back and realize all the little things you created added up to more than you expected. That idea clicked with me immediately.
